Henton is currently a fourth-year student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology. His interests are in merging Information Technology with Aviation, which influences his focus on Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). With an eye for the 4th industrial revolution, he believes drones are democratizing the sky and enabling new participants in aviation. He is among the first youngest licensed Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) Operators and Instructor (from UAV Industries, RSA) in both Multirotor (MR) and Fixed-Wing (FW). He also holds a drone builder’s certificate and an Internet Of Things and Embedded Systems that allows him to tinker and build DIY drones. His goal is to help clean, model, evaluate and display drone flight data study patterns and improve the autonomous capability drone have. He also aims at helping combat some of Kenya’s social challenges by the dynamic power drones have to offer.
